Description

Minimal Escape is a beautifully crafted adventure in which you play as a fairy living in a fantasy world that mirrors our ordinary one. Recently, because of someone's actions, that world has turned extremely dangerous and hostile. You'll need to investigate, uncover what caused the trouble, and find a way to put things right. Expect puzzles, traps, and plenty of obstacles that keep the gameplay tense and exciting, all presented with a lovely visual style.

Minimal Escape is a gorgeous and highly unusual platformer that sends you into an exploration of a dark, perilous world.

The developers have delivered magnificent level design, a cartoonish art style, hundreds of puzzles, and superb music, so boredom won't stand a chance. The gameplay is split into levels spread across different locations, and the length is impressive. Sometimes you'll run out of your three lives trying to survive all the traps and have to start again from the very beginning. You control a fairy girl with an unusual look. Your goal is to overcome every trap, collect the stars, and reach the end of each location. Finding stars is easy at first since they sit right in front of you, but hidden spots and other tricks gradually appear, pushing you to think harder. The obstacles are varied too, including platforms, sharp spikes, blades, chains, and much more.

Your ward can move freely in any direction, jump, climb vines, and push blocks around. At times you'll need to interact with mechanisms, for example to open a door or activate a platform. Overall, the game is excellent: a classic platformer with strong design and a huge number of challenging levels.
