Description

HopBound is a hardcore old-school platformer that appeals to fans of retro games with both its punishing gameplay and its story. The adventure takes players into a dark world born from the troubled mind of the main character, who has to fight off the demons tormenting him, with your help. Expect perilous levels packed with traps and hazards, relentless enemies that grow tougher as you go, story details that slowly unfold, and a long playtime that will satisfy anyone who loves retro-style fun for both the eyes and the reflexes.

HopBound is a fast-paced runner with eye-catching visuals and tricky stages.

Our hero has to push forward through a long run across a hostile world full of traps and eerie monsters. The story centers on the nightmares he is struggling to overcome, and it's up to you to guide him past every obstacle and take down the creatures in his path.

At the start, the hero has no special abilities or gear, but soon you'll be able to pick up a weapon to blast obstacles and reach power-ups that sit beyond his normal range. Keep in mind that certain hazards and enemies can take him out instantly, so avoiding them is essential.

The character runs through each area on his own, and all you need to do is tap the screen at the right moment to perform a standard or double jump. Clearing all three locations from start to finish is no walk in the park, but if you manage it, you'll uncover the ending of this gripping story.
