Green Hell is a survival simulator set deep in the Amazon Rainforest.
Green Hell is an open-world survival horror game developed by Creepy Jar and released in 2019. You step into the shoes of a man left stranded in the Amazon jungle with no recollection of how he arrived there. Your objective is to stay alive against the odds while exploring the wilderness and uncovering the mysteries hidden within it.
The visuals are strikingly lifelike, drawing players into the jungle as they make their way through it. You can craft tools and items from materials gathered in the environment, such as sticks, leaves, stones and vines. You will also need to hunt animals for food and build shelters to shield yourself from predators like jaguars and snakes.
On top of that, you must keep your health in check by eating well, drinking water regularly and avoiding the dangerous illnesses that can be picked up in the Amazon wilds. Hostile tribes also roam the land and may attack if provoked. Combat relies on weapons fashioned from resources found across the world, or on stealth tactics that let you avoid detection altogether.
Puzzles are scattered throughout the map, demanding sharp problem-solving skills to complete. As you advance through Green Hell's story mode, you will unlock new tools that make your journey easier, such as fire pits and rafts that help you cross rivers more quickly.
