About Just Dance Now

Just Dance Now is a rhythm-based music game by Ubisoft for Android that brings console gameplay to mobile devices with innovative mechanics. The game uniquely requires two devices: a smartphone that tracks your movements via its built-in sensors to capture your input, and a secondary display device that shows the choreography and scoring. This dual-device system creates a far more immersive experience than typical mobile games. Just Dance Now combines entertainment with fitness, letting you exercise and burn calories while enjoying music and dance.

Connecting the two devices is simple and intuitive. Use a lightweight smartphone as your primary control device to hold during active gameplay, while a tablet, PC monitor, smart TV, or Chromecast-compatible screen serves as your display. Visit the official game website on your secondary device to generate a QR code and numerical PIN code. Scan the QR code or enter the PIN in the Android app to pair your devices, then choose your avatars and songs.

The smartphone app features an intuitive interface designed for quick navigation and easy browsing. Search functions and genre filters let you find tracks in your library effortlessly. Before entering gameplay, select a personalized avatar with a design that appeals to you. During the game, hold your phone firmly in your hand to track your movements and keep pace with the on-screen choreography. The game provides clear instructions and a countdown timer to prepare you before the dance routine begins.

Score points by performing the moves displayed on screen in rhythm with the music and choreography. The scoring system helps you track progress and beat your personal records. The motion-sensing technology in your smartphone allows unrestricted movement throughout your space, unlike traditional console games, letting you execute dance moves freely in sync with the beats and routines. The game analyzes your gestures in real time and provides instant feedback on the quality of your movements.

The game features over 500 songs spanning famous and entertaining tracks from around the world. The catalog includes hits like Billie Eilish's Bad Guy, Lizzo's Truth Hurts, and Despacito, plus thousands of international favorites. This extensive collection gives you endless opportunities to explore different dance styles and choreography. Beyond entertainment, the game promotes fitness by using dance as a fun way to manage stress and burn calories, turning your love of music into an effective workout.
