Your main goal is to last as long as you can in a merciless, zombie-ridden post-apocalyptic world while working toward stopping the deadly virus before it wipes out everything left.

The game runs on daily cycles. On day one, you simply need to hold out until nightfall. During daylight, your survivors automatically defend against incoming enemies. Once night falls, you take direct control of the shelter and get ready for what lies ahead. If you have empty beds at the end of each day, new recruits will move in and join your team. Every night, rations are handed out automatically, with each survivor needing 2 units of food and 2 units of water per day.

Nights are spent upgrading structures, crafting ammunition, adding new rooms, and reinforcing defensive barricades. Be sure to set up rainwater collection filters and lay animal traps, since these are your main sources of clean drinking water and food. Each squad member can be leveled up with earned experience points to boost their stats and equip better weapons. Captured zombies can be locked in pens and later unleashed on hostile rival camps or traded for ammo and other essential supplies.
