The game is split into levels in which you must eliminate a set number of zombies, arriving in waves. Your main character takes cover and fires at enemies advancing from the top of the screen. The player just needs to gather coins and make use of an array of available boosts, such as setting up extra barricades, planting mines, restoring the hero's health, and much more. You have to wipe out every monster and stop them from breaking through your defenses.

Between battles, head to the workshop, where you can spend the money and resources you've earned to craft weapons, armor, and grenades. After completing a certain number of levels, the player unlocks new characters, skills, and abilities, which can be used in later battles.
