Notes: One Hit Kill may cause bugs, so we recommend relying on the Low Enemy Health feature instead, which produces a similar effect. The game is older, so compatibility and stability with newer devices are not guaranteed.

Description
XCOM®: Enemy Within is a strategy game in which you battle a range of foes, including aliens. You'll make the most of the squad you command and finish the objectives each mission demands. The game world is richly detailed, so you can use its surroundings to carry out your plans. After every mission, new options open up for you to pick from and upgrade.
UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT FALLING TOWARD THE LANDING ZONE
The XCOM® story kicks off with a deeply puzzling object plummeting over a city. Its strange descent draws a crowd, until a sudden green cloud of smoke erupts and sends everyone scattering. Victims are left behind, and this event becomes the reason a secretive organization steps in to deal with the threat. It's your opportunity to get near the aliens, who are, of course, your enemies.
You'll take on these foes tactically by directing a team of characters, each armed with particular weapons. The game's environments are carefully crafted and visually striking, drawing players in from the start. Like other strategy titles, it uses a similar overhead view to survey the battlefield. Signs of alien activity appear on screen, prompting you to adjust your tactics accordingly.
DEFEAT THE ENEMIES AND COMPLETE THE MISSION
The soldiers under your command in XCOM® are all equipped with weapons, and you can send them to any spot on the map you think is necessary. A priority in the early game is Meld, a new resource introduced in this title. It's easy to spot on the first mission, and you'll need to move a soldier over to collect it. From there, the fight against the alien forces begins.
You won't see the aliens right away, so you'll need to move your characters carefully, and most players opt for safe cover. After a few turns, the aliens reveal themselves, and only the characters positioned close to them can attack. Each character has an ability that lets them target enemies within a set range. The red face icon on the right side indicates when you have a chance to attack.
FINISH OBJECTIVES AND UPGRADE ABILITIES
A key thing to understand is that you can use the many spots in the XCOM® environment to strike your enemies. You're free to move as long as the target is within range and there's cover available. Each mission also sets specific goals, and the screen wraps up once they're all done. You'll then receive a rating for your performance in the battle, along with a tally of casualties.
After each mission, you'll sometimes unlock new items to upgrade your characters, fresh research, or base-building options. You'll have a set amount of money to spend. If you're unsure what to pick, take some time to look into each option. You'll also discover new upgrades for your characters, most of which are new abilities that help you in combat against the enemy.
