Description
Written by Albert H. Gates
Step into the wild, playful and gloriously messy world of World of Pippi Longstocking, where the usual rules simply don't apply. Forget homework, chores or doing what grown-ups say. Here you'll scramble up rooftops, outwit a pair of bumbling policemen and, quite absurdly, grow fresh water in the garden. That's right, fresh water grown straight from the soil. Come along to Villa Villekulla and try out the most ridiculous things imaginable!
Introduce about World of Pippi Longstocking
World of Pippi Longstocking is a mobile game inspired by the beloved character Pippi Longstocking, created by author Astrid Lindgren. Developed by Paper Play Games, it lets you revisit and build upon the bright, imaginative world of Pippi once again.
Explore Villa Villekulla
If you think your home is untidy, just wait until you see Villa Villekulla, Pippi's house, and you'll realize you're not so messy after all. World of Pippi Longstocking invites you to poke around every corner of this chaotic home, where nothing quite fits in its place. You might find candy tucked under your pillow or stumble upon an elephant in the bathroom, because with Pippi, anything can happen. You can even climb onto the roof and tease the "silly" thieves Dunder-Karlsson and Blom! Paper Play Games has clearly let its imagination run wild.
The magic garden
Have you ever pictured growing fresh water in your own garden? In World of Pippi Longstocking, you can plant fresh water seeds, and soon enough, water plants will spring up all over Pippi's garden. You can even keep monkeys and horses out there, why not? After all, you're Pippi, and Pippi does exactly as she pleases. Admittedly, the game keeps delivering wacky ideas that could only ever happen in a game.
Play hide and seek with Kling and Klang
One of the most entertaining things to do in World of Pippi Longstocking is playing hide and seek with the police officers Kling and Klang. Don't worry, they're hopeless at it! You can hide right in front of them and they still won't spot you. It's the perfect part of Pippi's life: pranking the grown-ups and never getting caught, as if the whole world answers to you. And even if you do get found, Pippi has a trick up her sleeve. Just toss a few pancakes into the officers' faces!
The kitchen – the messiest place
"Hmm… a place with so many utensils, a kitchen must be fun…" No sooner said than done, Pippi turns the kitchen into a glorious mess! In World of Pippi Longstocking, you can cook the craziest dishes you can dream up, such as biscuit soup or even toothpaste-flavored pancakes. Your culinary creativity has no limits here. You can even throw a pancake party right on the roof. And in Pippi's world, pancakes have the peculiar effect of making the police faint, so don't wonder too much about how they taste!
Expand with new content
World of Pippi Longstocking is a living universe, and developer Paper Play Games keeps adding fresh material, from new adventures to unexpected pranks. Something new and interesting is likely to be waiting for you every time you return. If you ever feel a little bored, check the mysterious letters in Villa Villekulla's mailbox, which are packed with surprising content and new challenges. Since the publisher is still developing the game, you'll never run out of things to explore!
Very chill jazz music
One of the true highlights of World of Pippi Longstocking is its music, which complements the already distinctive visuals of the original. Throughout the game, you'll hear top-notch jazz, with a gentle, relaxing yet cheerful melody. The theme song "Here Comes Pippi Longstocking" has been reimagined as a jazz cover, and the entire soundtrack was composed by musician Patrik Jarlestam. Together, these create an extremely unique atmosphere that helps you unwind and become fully absorbed in the adventure.
