Description
Whispers of a Machine is a sci-fi adventure in the vein of Scandinavian noir, following Vera, a cybernetically augmented special agent hunting a killer responsible for a string of brutal murders. What begins as a routine case soon uncovers something far larger: a cult of zealots attempting to build an artificial superintelligence, a dangerous technology that has been strictly banned for over a century. To complicate matters, figures from her past begin surfacing in her life, forcing Vera to question her own beliefs and values.
Vera is not alone in this fight. She is aided by a cutting-edge nanosubstance known as Blue, which grants her superhuman abilities for brief moments. Follow the storyline, gather clues and solve puzzles, and reach the ending through one of several possible paths. Set in an anti-utopian world, Whispers of a Machine features pixel-style graphics, classic point-and-click controls, and a gripping story that evolves based on the choices you make.
