To do so, you'll need to overcome a range of challenges and gather the decorations each celebration calls for. In the end, you help every couple create a romantic memory they'll cherish.

Gameplay

You might be surprised to learn that Wedding Planner is built around a match-3 core. This clever blend from the publisher feels familiar while still offering something fresh. To progress, you clear match-3 levels to earn stars, then spend those stars on items for each wedding.

Decorations are usually plentiful and each one costs a set number of stars, so you'll need to clear quite a few levels to complete a full wedding. Each finished wedding also rewards you with a bonus, and customer satisfaction builds as you carry out the job responsibly.

Special items

Like other match-3 titles, Wedding Planner includes special items. Matching pieces in the right number and arrangement creates them. For instance, matching four pieces in a square produces a paper-plane item, which flies to wherever you need to collect when activated.

Matching four pieces in a row gives you a missile that clears an entire row or column. Matching six similar pieces in a T or L shape creates a bomb with powerful destructive force. The most powerful of all, the disco ball, appears when you match five pieces in a row. Swapping it with any piece removes every piece of that type from the board.

You can also combine special items to unleash even stronger effects. The destructive power of these combinations is especially impressive, cutting down match times and saving moves. Each combined item retains the strength of its components; for example, combining two missiles clears every piece in a plus-sign pattern. Discover the rest of the unique combinations as you play.

Power-ups

Hammer: Destroys any single object on the board.
Arrow: Clears all objects in a row.
Firework: Clears all objects in a column.
Glove: Swaps two objects without using up a move.

Complete tasks

Wedding Planner offers daily and weekly tasks so you can earn extra rewards. Keep an eye on what needs doing to complete them. Each completed task unlocks a chest full of useful items, and you'll earn additional chests after finishing weddings for your clients.

Wedding collection

Every wedding you complete is saved to your collection. You can host a celebration in a range of settings, from a French castle and the California coast to a quiet forest, as long as the client asks for it. Revisit your finished weddings to relive the challenges you overcame along the way. Wedding Planner also features eye-catching animations for each celebration.

My tips

From my experience, the game isn't overly difficult because you can create plenty of special items. Here are a few quick tips to help you clear levels more easily. First, aim to create bombs or missiles, especially disco balls. Then, try to bring them together and combine them. Watching the explosive effect of their combined power is incredibly satisfying. Whenever you have a disco ball, pair it with any other object and see the impact it delivers.
