The official Android edition of the Way Of The Dragon board game by nestorgames, designed by Néstor Romeral Andrés and developed by bsideb projects. It's the ultimate race among the five elements: earth dragons, water tortoises, metal tigers, fire birds and wood dragons all travel the path of the Great Celestial Dragon in pursuit of immortality. The goal is to push your five pieces as far as possible along the five paths before the game ends, which happens once at least one player has reached the end of all five paths. How To Play On your turn, follow these steps in order: 1. Roll the five dice. You may choose to roll a second and third time, re-rolling any or all of them (similar to Yahtzee). 2. If you can, you must move one of your pieces, unless you've called the Great Dragon (see "Calling the Dragon" below). Then the turn passes to the next player. How To Move Once your rolls are finished, choose one element and advance the piece on the matching path by as many spaces as dice showing that element. If you have no piece on that path yet, you must enter a piece from outside the board onto the symbol space of the path, then move it the full number of spaces (pieces never stay on symbol spaces). Each path can hold only one piece of each color, so every player has one path per piece. If the destination space is occupied by another piece, your piece cannot move at all this turn, nor can it be entered onto the board. A piece sitting on a numbered space can no longer move, but it can be swapped out by calling the Great Dragon (see below). Moving is mandatory: if you can move at least one piece, you must move one. If none of your pieces can move, you simply pass the turn. Calling The Dragon If you roll 4 or 5 dragons, you may call the Great Dragon instead of moving. The Great Dragon lets you swap two pieces on one of the paths. - With 4 dragons, you may swap any two pieces on the path of the element shown on the fifth die. - With 5 dragons, you may swap any two pieces on any one path. Perfection If all five dice show the same element (not dragons), you have reached 'perfection' and get to play a complete turn again after moving. Equilibrium If all five dice show different elements (not dragons), you have reached 'equilibrium' and must move each of your pieces forward one space (those that are able to move). Game End The game ends when one player has all of their pieces on numbered spaces. Each player then adds up the numbers beneath their pieces. The player with the highest total wins. In case of a tie, the player with the most pieces on numbered spaces wins. If the tie persists, the game is a draw.
