Wartide: Heroes of Atlantis is a highly engaging role-playing game with strategy elements, developed for Kongregate. Wartide is a vibrant real-time strategy game in which you take command of a small army and fight in battles where defeat means annihilation.

Beyond the large-scale real-time battles, there is a campaign mode where the computer acts as your opponent. Here you can sharpen your skills, experiment with different tactics, and combine abilities to leave human rivals with no real chance in later matches.

Every battle has two stages. First, you position your warriors on the field, trying to predict where the enemy forces will be. Second, once the fighting begins, you use the skills and abilities of your units to gain a temporary edge over the opposing side.

Between battles, you recruit new characters, upgrade them, and learn additional skills. Mixing heroes and their abilities lets you shift tactics for each fight, adapt to opponents, and catch them off guard.
