"Real Fishing" is a realistic open-world fishing simulator that gives you a great deal of freedom and detailed mechanics that shape every catch. The game effectively expects you to pick the right tackle and bait, switch lures as conditions change, and keep a log of fish populations in specific regions. Itching to test your skills? No problem: the "Real Fishing (Key)" version of the simulator is already available for everyone!
Gameplay and Atmosphere
The competitive side of the simulator is pushed to the extreme: the developers have built in thousands of rules and unusual requirements, so you need to track many different stats and adapt to a constantly changing world. This hardcore approach shows up in many ways. For example, not every fish takes every in-game bait (all gear mirrors real-world equipment), and "Real Fishing" also features preferred fishing depths and feeding times, so fishing at dawn isn't always more productive than fishing at dusk.
You'll also need to think about water depth, rod casting distance, and the wide selection of fishing tools sold in the in-game shop. On top of that, the game sometimes prompts you to check in-game news, where reporters cover tournaments and recommend spots worth visiting.
