Description
VERSUS: The Elite Trials
An engaging interactive novel with role-playing elements, told entirely through text, where you hold full control over how the story unfolds.
Gameplay
In this game, you take on the role of one of thirty prisoners captured on the planet Versus. To keep themselves alive, the prisoners have formed an elite voting bloc, and it is through this bloc that they decide who will be sent into the arena to fight in deadly gladiatorial battles.
One of these prisoners has already devised a plan for revolution, and you must help them pull off the coup. Alternatively, you can side with the corrupt elite and help crush the rebellion instead.
With your superpowers and memories, you are ideally suited to work as a spy or even a double agent. The choice of who you become rests entirely with you.
Since the game is purely text-based, it does not feature colorful visuals or immersive sound effects. Instead, you will read the story and make choices that shape where it goes. Stay alert, because agents who want you dead are closing in on every side.
