Description
MOD Download 1
Vector is a new version of the Xposed Framework that works on current Android releases (8.1 and newer). In earlier years, before Magisk came along, people often relied on SuperSU and similar "superuser" apps. These tools didn't let you install modules to change how an Android device looked or behaved. Eventually a solution emerged in the form of the Xposed Framework, which let users customize their system as they liked by adding Xposed modules. As Magisk matured and kept pace with new Android versions, Xposed gradually fell behind, since developers stopped updating it once Magisk arrived. Xposed modules slowly faded into obscurity until LSPosed came along. Vector Framework works just like Xposed Framework but supports newer Android versions with active development, and it still lets you install Xposed modules as before. Its only drawback is that it lacks an online store like the one Xposed had.
Example of use with Lucky Patcher Vector can be handy when used alongside Lucky Patcher.
On newer Android versions it won't work straight out of the box, but LSPosed takes care of that problem.
How to install Vector (formerly LSPosed):
- Download the latest version of LSPosed;
- Open Magisk and go to the "Modules" tab;
- Tap "Install from storage" and locate the archive: Screenshot
- Wait for the installation to finish, then reboot your device: Screenshot
- After the reboot, check the module list: Screenshot
- Open LSPosed from the notification in the status bar (notification shade);
- If the app opens showing "Activated," the installation worked;
- For convenience, enable the app icon in LSPosed settings and hide it from the status bar.
Installation complete. Source (LSPosed): GitHub (Stable) Source (Vector, formerly LSPosed by JingMatrix): GitHub (Canary / Stable)
