VAG DPF Mod APK provides detailed DPF statistics and regeneration cycle information through an ELM327 Bluetooth or WiFi adapter connection.

This application lets you check whether your filter is currently undergoing regeneration, if another regeneration cycle is pending, how many kilometers have elapsed since the last regeneration, and much more.

Since the app employs CAN commands, you'll need a reasonably capable ELM327 adapter (see note below); many users report successfully using budget-friendly adapters priced around 10-15 euros. Unlike most conventional apps that rely on standard OBD2 commands, this one communicates directly using CAN instructions tailored to specific vehicle models, which is why compatibility varies across different car makes and models.

• The app monitors 12 distinct DPF parameters including soot accumulation levels, regeneration duration, distance traveled and elapsed time since the last regeneration cycle, EGR valve status, and intake and outlet exhaust temperatures. • Update parameters on demand or on a schedule
• All metrics display both the previous value and the difference between current and previous readings (applicable only when automatic update intervals exceed 0 seconds)
• You can disable certain parameters to improve refresh speed.
• The display indicates filter fullness percentage up to the point where forced regeneration gets triggered by the engine ECU.
• A visual progress bar shows the filling percentage before initiating either forced regeneration or service regeneration cycles.
• Filter status visualization: red indicator during any regeneration phase (passive, forced, or service); grey filter with interior sections that vary based on fill level.
• Additional diagnostics appear, such as adapter communication error counts, filter fill rate measured in g/min, parameter update frequency for all 12 metrics, and the configured automatic refresh interval set through the options.
