Background

Gameplay
The gameplay of Tiny Animal War: GO is refreshingly straightforward. In battle, you start with a small group of troops and can summon additional fighters through the army gacha in the right corner of the screen. When the fight begins, troops from both sides attack automatically, and the side with the last surviving unit wins. Victory depends on the strength of your soldiers and how well you arrange your squad, which highlights the strategic heart of the game.
A match offers only nine storage slots, so once they are full, any new troops are sent to your inventory. You can also merge identical units into a more powerful version, indicated by their star count. For instance, dragging two one-star Ice Foxes onto each other spawns a two-star Ice Fox with doubled power. This is arguably the most compelling mechanic in Tiny Animal War: GO. You don't need a huge army; as long as your soldiers are strong, winning a 1 vs 5 battle is perfectly normal.
Levels
Tiny Animal War: GO takes you on a journey to rescue the captive Ponchas, and the path seems endless. All enemy strongholds lie along a single route that winds through different lands. The farther you travel, the more Ponchas you free and the more new allies you recruit.
Every stage lists a set of rewards alongside warnings about that stage's boss. Some levels display a hanging Poncha that you can rescue for extra bonuses. Rewards come in the form of coins or rubies. Collect plenty of coins to upgrade your squad, because tougher challenges are waiting ahead.
Diverse characters
The Heroes section of Tiny Animal War: GO neatly lists the game's characters and how their roles are divided. There are three types of characters:
- Heroes: Spirits, angels, or gods sent down to help you fight evil. These giant characters boast enormous HP and damage stats, and they serve as your guardian deities and Poncha spirits. So far, Tiny Animal War: GO features up to 28 heroes, and that number will likely grow in future updates.
- Troops: These form the core of the game and make up your army, with up to 43 distinct types. Each unit has its own role, strength, and attack range. Pup Trooper, for example, is a basic melee soldier with fairly low health; Kitty Shooter fires arrows from a distance but has low health; and Ice Fox uses magic to strike enemies from afar.
- Elves: There are quite a few of them, and you can only unlock them by completing certain tasks. They let you enter new lands and earn many valuable rewards.
Build mode
Another interesting feature of Tiny Animal War: GO is its construction mode. In each land, you can build and restore the forest that the red creatures have destroyed. The areas you rebuild are filled with ancient magic and power. The mystical forest of Svendia, for example, is surrounded by towering ancient trees and serves as a wonderful habitat for animals and elves.
