TICKOPRINT® is a powerful watch analysis and timing app built for mechanical wristwatches. Its interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. It displays the traditional "running paper strip diagram" that professional watch timers rely on, and it includes automated beat detection that measures the accuracy and amplitude of every movement.
TICKOPRINT® is also available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Romanian, Finnish, Japanese, and Turkish.
TICKOPRINT® comes with a built-in benchmark test that checks whether the CPU of your tablet or smartphone is capable of running the app. It is also compatible with standard ANDROID headsets.
We recommend the optional TICKOAMP set, a sophisticated signal processor, along with the TICKOMIC Pro, a highly sensitive clamp microphone that allows fast and comfortable multi-position testing. This set can be ordered on request.
TICKOPRINT® FREE shows accuracy deviations in seconds per 24 hours and reveals beat errors through gaps in the diagram lines. The working model is presented in a user-adjustable "Tick" simulation. All tests can be saved to your mobile device and replayed for verification. You can orient the running paper strips either horizontally or vertically.
TICKOPRINT® PREMIUM lets you display accuracy and beat error in milliseconds, along with balance amplitude. It also includes the "Trace" diagram, which shows each movement tick in fine detail and high resolution. You can additionally adjust the X- and Y-axis resolution of the TICKOPRINT® "running paper strip" diagram.
The watch database stores all the data about a watch and lets you save comments on test results. You can choose the integration time used to calculate average deviation.
Additional graphical waveform displays of tick noise support deeper analysis of escapement systems and hard-to-detect faults, such as defects in pallet stones.
The expanded watch database lets you save images and run tests on a specific watch. You can also email an entire watch dossier, including all test results and images. These advanced features make TICKOPRINT® Premium the preferred tool for watchmaking professionals.

TICKOPRINT DOES NOT WORK WITH QUARTZ MOVEMENTS
Important Notice – Connector for External Mic
We have recently discovered that some WiFi-only tablets (without GSM) lack an external wired microphone connector. Although the 3.5 mm RCA connector is widely used for earphones, it cannot be used to connect an external mic on these devices, as the microphone contacts inside them are not wired. These tablets are not compatible with TICKOPRINT, since the app requires an external microphone to operate.
How to install
- Download the APK file above to your phone.
- Allow “Install unknown apps” when prompted.
- Open the downloaded APK and tap Install.
- If the package includes OBB/XAPK data, follow the bundled instructions.
