Lady Tallowmere's kittens have been acting strangely lately, yet the dungeon rituals must continue. Test your ability to explore an unfamiliar labyrinth—how deep can you venture?
Construct barriers to shield yourself from danger and watch for enemies attempting to block your progress. Each room requires its own unique key to unlock. Strengthen your combat abilities and collect gear including weapons, shields, blessings, and potions to customize your character. Push for high scores by completing as many levels as possible. The game supports local co-op gameplay with two controllers on one screen, plus online multiplayer co-op for up to 4 players with cross-platform compatibility.
Each run applies specific rules to generate rooms, foes, items, and modifiers procedurally. Before tackling a mission, select your character class and starting weapon loadout. Successive chambers spawn tougher enemy waves. Since different weapons offer unique effects, picking the right tool for the job matters greatly. Discover increasingly rare loot throughout your journey. Restore health through potions, hearts, or Lady Tallowmere's aid when you find her. Later in the game, upgrade your weapons at designated stations. Death forces you to start your run anew.
