SunPositionMap MOD APK 5.52, Free

Please rate the app after you've tried it out. Ratings and comments from people who use it are what keep independent app developers going, so if you like something or would like to see an improvement, feel free to let us know in the comments. The app shows the sun's position for any point in time, shows the moon's position for any point in time, displays the sunrise and sunset positions for the current day, displays the moonrise and moonset positions for the current day, shows the positions of the latest and earliest sunrise, and the latest and earliest sunset. It offers map, satellite, hybrid and terrain views, and includes a compass to help you work out where the sun will be at any given date and time. You can save locations on the map with notes, view the moon's phase and illumination, and change the date and time with either a slider or precise buttons. A camera field-of-view indicator is available in both landscape and portrait modes, and the app shows the positions of stars, constellations and Messier objects. To reach all the settings, note that the settings panel scrolls both up and down and side to side. To use the compass, tap the navigator icon on the right to turn on the heading indicator. Line up the heading indicator with the sun line, sunrise line or sunset line, and the direction your phone is facing is the direction the sun will be. Phone compasses are often inaccurate, but you can usually improve accuracy by moving the phone in a figure-eight pattern. You can also check accuracy by pointing the phone at the sun and seeing how far off it appears. Permissions: the app requests no more permissions than are strictly necessary for it to work. It uses the Google Maps API, which requires access to external storage and network access, and it needs location data to show your current position. The developer says they do not track or collect any information about users, but they cannot speak for any tracking or collection performed by the Google Maps API.
