You'll spend your time keeping these enemies away from the chest while summoning powerful new allies. The latest update to Summoner's Greed brings an exciting addition: three new characters. Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon, the three mighty gods of Greek mythology, have joined the roster. Summoning them opens up entirely new strategies, since each god embodies a specific element. Lightning, Fire, and Ice formations give you plenty of combinations to experiment with.

PLAY UNLIMITED TOWER DEFENSE LEVELS

In Summoner's Greed's tower defense gameplay, your goal is to protect the chest. The knights have stolen it from them and are pushing their forces forward to take it back from the red mage. To slow their advance, the red mage casts a spell that places rocks to fill gaps and carve out a path.

The game environment is made up of several squares, and these are where you place the characters you summon. Choose positions that make sense to you. The first level starts with just one character at your disposal. Once you've finished positioning your units in Edit mode, the enemies begin their march. You'll face several enemy types, and each one needs its own approach.

As in other tower defense games, you'll eventually face crowds of enemies that never stop moving. If any of them reach the chest at the end of the path, you lose immediately. The challenge grows as increasingly strong enemies appear. An axe-wielding foe can smash through the red mage's rocks and shorten its route, while a knight much larger than the rest can push through your defenses.

SUMMON POWERFUL CHARACTERS

As mentioned earlier, your only companion in Summoner's Greed's first level is a single slime, but there's no need to worry. After each level, you'll collect a green circular resource, which is used to summon characters of Common rarity and above. Place them right away to hold back the enemy advance, and if luck is on your side, you might even summon an Epic character.

Beyond that standard method, there's another summoning mechanism with a better chance of producing Epic characters. Above it sits the summon option that costs purple diamonds. These diamonds are quite rare in the game, so the characters they bring are considerably stronger. Once your units are on the field, be sure to upgrade their power. Each character has skill lines to read, and clicking a character reveals the gold needed for an upgrade.
