Snow Drift puts you behind the wheel of a car you control yourself, with the goal of pushing through the white snowdrifts that clog the track.

When you reach the Snow Drift race, the dizzying spinning obstacles are sure to catch your eye. Snow clouds surround the course and block your path. Your job here isn't to beat rival drivers. Instead, you need to manage your movement so every bit of ice and snow melts away across the field. Once no white snow remains, you can advance to a new level with fresh challenges.

CAR DRIVING MISSION UNDER CONTROL

When you first start the game, you get a single car and a small snowdrift to help you get comfortable with the controls. Use the touch screen to steer left and right and handle the car's direction with precision. Drive skillfully so the car plows into the snow and melts it away.

TACKLE EACH LEVEL FROM EASY TO HARD

If you fail a level, you can retry it as many times as needed until you pass. The level design is fairly easy to grasp, which makes Snow Drift accessible to most players. Levels grow progressively larger, and the difficulty rises with them, as the snow piles get bigger and thicker than before. Lose focus for even a moment and you could slide off the track.

THE FIELD WITH WHITE WARNING LINES

The on-screen graphics are highly realistic, and your field is bordered by white and yellow lines like the warning markings you'd see on real roads. Snow Drift surrounds the area where your car operates with a set of white stripes. If you lose control and drive past those boundaries before clearing all the snow, that counts as a failed level.

If you clear the snow without leaving the field, Snow Drift celebrates your win by taking you to a podium accompanied by cheering sounds. To make the victory feel even bigger, fireworks light up around the podium. You'll earn that moment of pride on every level, even the very first, simplest one.

START COLLECTING COINS

That's not all. Snow Drift also lets you collect coins. Where are they hiding? Gold coins are scattered randomly throughout the snow. Each time your car touches one, the coin goes straight into your pocket, and a counter keeps track of how many resources you've gathered.

UPGRADE YOUR CAR WITH MORE COINS

You won't get stuck driving the same car through every level, either. Snow Drift lets you unlock a brand-new, more luxurious car from our collection. Not everyone has access to these options right away, though. You need to gather a certain number of coins before you can enter the selection process.

• The high-performance car goes head to head with the white snow on the field, all within the boundaries marked by white lines.
• Be careful not to cross the boundary line, or you'll fail and have to start over.
• Upgrade your level once you can steer the car straight into the snow, melting it away without leaving any white patches behind.
• Collect as many gold coins as you can, since they're hidden throughout the snow, your number one enemy.
• Choose a newer, more capable car once you've earned enough gold, and your collection will be ready for you to browse.
