Description

Sheltered puts you in charge of a family of four trying to survive in a post-nuclear world. The game focuses on how brutal life becomes once civilization has collapsed. Our heroes got lucky: they lived through the nuclear war and already have a shelter of their own, but without your guidance they won't survive for long. Scarce resources, risky trips into the wasteland, constant equipment breakdowns, and attacks from wild animals and raiding gangs are just some of the challenges they face. When you start, the first step is to inspect your shelter. After that, pick your characters and give them jobs, such as refueling the generator, crafting items at the workbench, or answering calls on the walkie-talkie. Keeping your family healthy is just as important. Each character has stats to manage, including hunger, thirst, fatigue, and hygiene. As time goes on, your wards will gain new skills and also develop weaknesses and strengths, which you'll need to use wisely if you want them to make it through.
