Description
Shaman King: Chinese developers have launched a beta test of Shaman King, an anime-inspired mobile game. Unlike Shaman King Mobile, its gameplay runs on auto-battle with a wall-to-wall layout. Players only need to position their characters beforehand and then upgrade them. New heroes can be pulled through the gacha system, and the developers are handing out free spins.
Each mission can earn up to 3 stars, and the game is built around that structure. Heroes are sorted by rarity and element tier, and pairing the right combinations gives you a higher win rate. Alongside PvE content, Shaman King also includes player-versus-player battles in the Arena, likely in an asynchronous format.
Keep in mind that when the test servers shut down, all progress will be wiped. Players have praised the anime-style visuals and the inclusion of characters from the "Shaman King" series, which brings back plenty of childhood memories.
