Scary Doll tells a horror story about a mother searching for her daughter deep within a cursed forest. Eerie sounds crackling from the radio will keep you on edge at every turn. Your journey takes the form of hunting down monsters through a series of puzzles. Along the way you'll be faced with questions; if you can't work them out, you won't be able to move on. The jungle is a maze of paths that eventually lead to the decaying house where your daughter is being held.

Set against the backdrop of a missing girl and her mother's desperate search, you'll venture into the deep forest. Along the way you'll meet many mysterious characters, one of whom is Santa Claus. Bugs tied to his appearance have been resolved. Reno now moves more quietly, without making any noise.

Your progress through Scary Doll is interrupted by unsent letters, which are the puzzles the system presents to you. Solving them reveals many clues about the missing girl, and their content is quite complex, so expect to spend time thinking them through. Still, don't ignore them. When you reach a fork in the road with several paths, you'll have to decide which way to go. Maps aren't handed to the player; they take shape as you solve the puzzles.
