Description

Samsung Notes lets you put together notes that combine text, captioned images, voice recordings, and music. You can also pass your notes along to social networks with ease. Any memos you previously created in S Note and Memo can be brought over into Samsung Notes as well.

Samsung Notes offers a wide range of brush styles and a color mixer, letting you create stunning artwork much like a professional painter would. You can instantly publish your artwork to PEN.UP as well. Samsung Notes serves as a central place for all your handwritten notes, sketches, and drawings.

Creating notes Tap the + icon at the bottom of the Samsung Notes home screen to start a new note.

Locking notes 1. Tap the More options button on the Samsung Notes home screen, choose Settings, and then select Lock notes to set a password. 2. Set up your password, then tap the note you wish to protect. 3. While viewing a note, tap the More options button and choose Lock.

Adding text Tap the keyboard icon at the top of the screen to type using the on-screen keyboard. Use the Rich text toolbar to change how your text looks.

Adding handwriting Tap the Handwriting icon at the top of the screen to write by hand. Your handwritten text can be recognized, and you can even search your notes for keywords using handwriting.

Adding drawings Tap the drawing icon at the top of the screen to start sketching.

Adding images and voice recordings Tap the image icon at the top of the screen to insert pictures. Tap the Voice recording icon at the top of the screen to add audio recordings.

Using pen settings Pick from a variety of pen types, sizes, and colors.

Erasing handwriting Tap the eraser icon at the bottom of the screen, then tap or swipe over the handwriting you want to remove.

Using Selection mode Tap the selection icon at the bottom of the screen, then choose an area of your handwriting. From there you can move the selected area, resize it, and perform other edits.

Using brush settings Choose from a range of brush types and colors. Tap the selected brush again to reopen its settings and adjust options such as size and opacity. Tap the color icon, then pick the color you want to draw with.

Using Smart Switch Use Smart Switch to bring S Note and Memo data over from other devices.

Using your Samsung account 1. Tap the More options button on the Samsung Notes home screen, choose Settings, and then select Import data. 2. Pick the S Note or Memo data saved with your Samsung account, then tap the DONE button.

Syncing notes with Samsung Cloud 1. Tap the More options button on the Samsung Notes home screen, choose Settings, and then select Sync with Samsung Cloud. 2. Sign up for or log in to Samsung Cloud with your Samsung account. Your Samsung Notes data will then sync automatically.
