MirrorLink builds on VNC, a network computing technology that enables business users to work with applications on remote desktops. The car's software displays the smartphone's full user interface, and if the screen sizes differ, the image is scaled to fit.
When a phone and a car are paired, the mobile device supplies all the necessary applications and runs them using its own hardware, while the infotainment system presents information to the driver and connects controls such as the steering wheel buttons, touchscreen, and additional physical buttons.
How to install
- Download the APK file above to your phone.
- Allow “Install unknown apps” when prompted.
