A UNIQUE WORLD WITHOUT A NAME

The story unfolds in a world that never receives a specific name. We only know it as a place of worship for the Celestials, a deity associated with the stars and the one who gifted mankind with wisdom and culture. In a sense, it is thanks to this divine being that the human world has become what it is today. Yet peace in SaGa SCARLET GRACE: AMBITIONS depends on whether Firebringer is betrayed and driven out of the kingdom.

WAR FOR POWER

This event stirred up bitterness and anger, prompting Firebringer to openly challenge the other Celestials and set off an endless melee with unpredictable outcomes. Every 150 years, Firebringer returns and scatters the seeds of monsters across the land. Facing this threat, humanity united with one resolve: to destroy Firebringer once and for all. When that war ended in victory, new problems arose, tied to the rise of the Spontaneous Empire and a power struggle among the sons.

WHO WOULD YOU BECOME IN THIS FANTASY WORLD?

The full story and its gripping twists are split across four key characters. First is Urpina, a princess who, from birth, has known only play and enjoyment, until her family is attacked and her brother needs her help. Or you might take on the role of Leonard, a farmer searching for a fertile land, like the one in the legend.

Even if that path feels dull, the journey to Balmaint offers an exciting alternative on the way to the execution site of a former owner. You can also take on the role of Taria, whose keen senses detect disturbances and instability in a treasure trove of pottery, leading to a battle to capture the phoenix that caused the chaos. Throughout the adventure, you will never travel alone, as every character is given a companion.

Dozens of events are available to explore, and SaGa SCARLET GRACE: AMBITIONS follows a non-linear structure. Players are not bound to any fixed order. Instead, you can pick the events you want to take part in and skip those that don't interest you. Your journey and decisions will deeply influence the long story that unfolds.

GROUP ASSISTANCE

You will not fight alone. Instead, you unite with up to 4 members organized into different squads. You have access to eight weapons, each with unique attributes that determine the skills you can use, how you attack the enemy, and the effects you achieve. This can be a great advantage, but it can also work against you if your party is not ranked properly, since the strength of each hero shapes your strategy.
