Description
SafeDot : Privacy Indicators is a simple, and at times genuinely handy, app that lets you see when your phone's camera or microphone is being used. It's normal for these to switch on while you're taking photos, recording video, or joining a video call. But when an unfamiliar third-party app asks for access to these hardware components without a clear reason, it's natural to start getting suspicious. A green dot signals camera activity, while a red dot signals microphone activity. That way you'll always know when something isn't right and can take the steps needed to safeguard your private information. What's more, the app doesn't collect any data and has no internet access.
