Description
In Rota's Chronicles of Trade, a city-building and trade simulation, you step into the shoes of Rota, a princess whose forest kingdom is struggling under punishing tariffs set by a neighboring king. Determined to bring her homeland back to prosperity, Rota sets out on overseas trade from the lively harbor town of Portamare. Your job is to grow the town by looking after its varied people, including farmers, merchants, and sailors, each bringing their own strengths to the trading effort. Sail a fleet of different ships, haggle over import and export agreements, and build workshops to produce goods. The game is drawn in charming pixel art, and you'll watch residents move about and interact throughout the town. Yearly rankings give you a clear measure of how Portamare is progressing. As you handle the challenges of trade and forge ties with new nations, you work toward restoring the wealth of the forest kingdom.
