Description
Rogue Legacy is a tough action platformer with roguelike elements, where every death opens the door to a fresh start. Venture through a castle that reshapes itself on every attempt, facing deadly traps, bizarre creatures, and fearsome bosses as you dig for its secrets and try to defeat the darkness hidden inside. The game's standout feature is its "genealogical" system: each time your hero dies, a child takes up the quest, inheriting traits, abilities, and sometimes odd conditions that can completely change how you play. One heir might be colorblind, another might suffer from vertigo, and others could be remarkably strong or unusually small, so no two runs feel quite the same. Gold collected along the way lets you expand your family manor and unlock upgrades, new classes, weapons, and abilities that make future generations stronger and more capable. Combining procedurally generated levels, a deep progression system, a wide range of character classes, and skill-based combat with exploration, Rogue Legacy is highly addictive, with every attempt bringing you closer to conquering the ever-changing castle and building a legendary family line.
