“Robo Army Akeaka NEOGEO” is the smartphone version of a cyborg-and-robot-filled belt-scroll action game that first appeared in arcades in 1991. The one-player character “Maxima” from this title served as the inspiration for the Maxima who appears in the company’s fighting game “KOF” series. (Note: they are not the same character.) The evil robot army “Hell Zide” has begun capturing people around the world, and two cyborgs have been sent to stop them.
