The Long Drive blends racing and adventure in a post-apocalyptic setting. After a letter from your mother arrives, you set off on a long road trip. Choosing to try something new, you discover that racing across a scorching desert is a surprisingly good idea. Before you leave, the first step is to dig out your old car from the garage and start repairing it. You'll be equipped with protective gear and supplies to get through the long journey.
REPAIR AN OLD CAR
Your budget is tight, so buying a new car isn't an option. That shouldn't stop you from setting out on a big adventure in The Long Drive. Using your creativity, you decide to fix up the car that has sat abandoned in the garage for ages, using the few parts you can afford. Give it a fresh coat of paint in your favorite color, and don't forget to upgrade the old engine.
FUEL UP AND ADD COOLANT
Your journey takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, especially across the blistering desert, so your vehicle needs to be in top condition before you go. Only then can you stay alive and reach your mother at the end of this epic trip in The Long Drive. Gather every supply you need, such as gas cans to store fuel, engine oil to top up the car, and coolant to help it handle the desert heat.
EQUIP AND COLLECT WEAPONS
Keep yourself safe from bloodthirsty zombies. To avoid becoming their next meal, stock up on weapons alongside your vehicle gear. Each wave of horrifying, bloodthirsty zombies will challenge you, so staying alive is your top priority. Load your vehicle with items that can take down enemies, and gather weapons whenever you can. Grab as many guns and rounds of ammo as possible to avoid a horrible end.
CAR MONITORING & REFUELING
Before setting off on The Long Drive's desert adventure, you'll be outfitted with everything a traveler needs. Your fuel tanks in particular must be protected so they don't overheat in the desert sun. Check on your vehicle each time you pass a checkpoint, and make sure it has the right amount of fuel. Be careful not to run out of fuel or coolant during the trip.
SEARCHING FOR USEFUL ITEMS
Along the way, you'll come across plenty of abandoned buildings, such as old gas stations or houses that have been empty for years. Keep an eye out, because you'll need many items to keep your journey going. As you play, your observation skills will sharpen, helping you spot and collect anything useful. Never pass a gas station without refilling your tank.
DISCOVER NEW PLACES
The Long Drive delivers plenty of exciting moments, especially when you're traveling a great distance in a car that has sat abandoned for years. This could become the most memorable trip of your life. Along the way, you'll get to explore many new lands, where danger lurks but so does plenty of thrilling entertainment.
