Description
RimWorld Pocket Edition is a procedurally generated open-world sandbox with a sci-fi setting and unpredictable storylines. In this fictional universe, the narrative is built in real time by an unseen AI storyteller.
It is this hidden storyteller that decides which challenges your chosen characters will face (at the outset you control three heroes who survived a spaceship crash), and when they will meet aliens, unknown diseases, and valuable resources. The storyteller shapes everything at once, so no two playthroughs ever feel the same.
Atmosphere, Gameplay, and Difficulty
On Android, RimWorld wastes no time explaining its core mechanics and teaching your virtual castaways not to rely on ancient technology or supplies they haven't yet found. The whole tutorial centers on interacting with the world: you'll learn how to manage colonists, which resources to gather, and which events to steer clear of. The introduction takes a fair amount of time, so newcomers are advised not to skip the tips and to start exploring the world around them right away.
From there, your job is to help the virtual inhabitants build a colony on the planet, drawing fully on your strategic skills.
