Renamer Pro is a tool that lets you batch rename all your files from internal or external storage in one go. It is an advanced version of the Bulk Rename app.

Batch rename your files in three easy steps: 1. Choose the input files. Pick the files you want to rename using the built-in file browser. 2. Pick a rename configuration. Build your own configuration with the available options. 3. Preview and start. Check a preview of the new file names before you apply the changes.

Rename Configuration

Building your own rename configuration takes just two steps.

1. Choose a name format.

You can combine a range of building blocks to create the new name format. Each block can be customized and arranged in any order you like.

✓ Original Name – Inserts the file's initial name. This is the starting point for every configuration. ✓ Parent Name – Inserts the name of the parent folder. ✓ Indexing – Inserts an auto-incremented number. Options: start value, step, zero padding. ✓ Text – Inserts custom text. ✓ Date & Time – Inserts the file's last modified date and time. The format is fully configurable. ✓ EXIF Data – Pulls EXIF data from images and adds it to the file name. ✓ Audio Metadata – Pulls metadata from audio files and adds it to the file name. ✓ Random Text – Inserts randomly generated text. Options: length and character type.

2. Apply modifiers (optional).

Once the name format is set, you can layer on a set of modifiers.

✓ Change Case – Converts the name to lower case, upper case, sentence case or camel case. ✓ Change Extension – Changes the file extension or removes it entirely. ✓ Add Character at Position – Inserts characters or words at a specified position. ✓ Trim Whitespaces – Removes spaces from the start, end or everywhere in the name. ✓ Remove Characters – Deletes chosen characters or words from the name. ✓ Remove Multiple Characters – Deletes several characters or words at once, separated by commas. ✓ Remove Characters by Type – Deletes all numbers, letters, non-numbers or non-letters. ✓ Remove Characters at Position – Deletes a set number of characters from a chosen position. ✓ Remove Characters by Regex – Deletes characters matching a regular expression. ✓ Replace Characters – Swaps every occurrence of a target with your desired text. ✓ Replace Characters by Regex – Swaps every match of a regular expression with your desired text.

3. Check the live sample. A live sample is available at all times and refreshes each time you adjust the configuration.
