"Размена не Будет" is an experimental first-person adventure from Studio Rassvet, centered on working a late-night kiosk. Your character serves customers, sells goods, and meets a varied cast of people. Beyond the core job, you're also given side tasks: shaping a daily routine, looking back on the past, and sorting through faded hopes.

The standout element of this game is its atmosphere. An entire life unfolds around the kiosk window. One customer is thinking about switching jobs, another is bursting to share a secret, and a third has only a few rubles left to buy a pack of croutons. The story unfolds through brief but engaging episodes, sometimes just fragments of conversation, evoking a sense of stagnation alongside the cozy warmth of small provincial towns.

Features

Most of the gameplay revolves around serving customers and talking through the kiosk window. Your character takes orders, keeps stock, and handles other people's requests. Some tasks require hands-on control, such as counting change or digging through boxes for groceries that haven't been put on the shelves yet.

The game is split into episodes, each revealing another part of Matvey's life and the world around him. Certain scenes lean on everyday humor, while others turn toward heavier reflections on the past, career decisions, exhaustion, and the wish to change one's fate.

The game also adopts a realistic visual style. Digitized "guests" display lifelike expressions and react in amusing ways to many of your words. Voice acting by professional actors is included as well.

Pros

• A grounded story without unnecessary heroics, where familiar everyday situations are easy to recognize.
• The mood of a night kiosk on a winter evening, with townspeople facing their own sorrows, hopes, and desires.
• Expressive characters who each carry their own story through the plot, along with a few quirky requests.

Cons

• The deliberate pacing won't suit everyone. Players who expect fast action and constant events may find many mechanics predictable and tedious. The bleak, gloomy tone may not appeal to all, as hope can seem nearly absent at times.

Overall rating: 9.5/10. "Размена не Будет" is a captivating journey into provincial life: ordinary people, long night shifts, and a flood of thoughts running through your mind.
