Proximity Screen Off PRO – Control Your Screen With Gestures. Want to see what gestures can really do? This application lets you turn your screen off and on with just a swipe. Simply move your hand across the proximity sensor (located near the earpiece on the top of the phone).
Features: • Works on tablets that have only a light sensor (set the sensor sensitivity to low). • Tasker integration with a quick toggle to start and stop the service • Pocket/Flip or Smart Cover Mode: turns the screen off when the sensor is covered and back on when it is uncovered (a feature requested by Galaxy Note users) • Swipe to Screen Off: turn the screen off by sliding your hand • Turn the screen on and off with these gestures: 1) Swipe once, 2) Swipe twice, 3) Swipe and hold, 4) Hold and swipe, and 5) Cover and hold • Ignore Apps list: add the apps or games where you want to disable the service • Widget: start and stop the service • ScreenOff shortcut: turn off the screen by launching the app • Sensor Configuration: based on your device, choose the sensor you prefer or the one that is available, and adjust its values, since they differ between devices • Enable screen on/off during calls only • Disable call handling completely • Battery saving options: 1) Deactivate sensors after a timeout 2) Deactivate sensors when the power button is pressed or the phone goes idle • Override the power button and screen-on by other apps (if the phone is in your pocket and you receive a call or accidentally press the power button, the screen stays off) • Prevent accidental screen on • Disable accidental lock: in Swipe to Screen Off mode, the screen won't turn off if the sensor stays covered longer than the set duration • Vibration on screen on/off
