"Pro rodinki" (Prorodinki) is an information and reference service that can semi-automatically assess the condition of congenital pigmented or non-pigmented skin formations. Its mobile companion analyzes these moles with artificial intelligence algorithms based on a photo, which you only need to upload from the main menu.
Once the photo is in, the check gets underway: the neural network draws on a dedicated database of 100,000 images, outlines the boundaries of each formation, cross-references recommendations from dermatologists and oncologists, and then prepares several suggestions. Which ones exactly? For example, advice on whether to visit a doctor...
Content, features, and updates
The "Moles" app tracks statistics on a significant number of malignant skin diseases (the data comes from a medical university website, though you must give your consent) and carefully advises anyone who wants to know what to do about a given formation. Although the articles shown after a check reflect only the opinions of artificial intelligence and doctors, the chance of spotting melanoma or skin cancer early is quite high.
First, though, you need to fill in the necessary details in the questionnaire, and then rely on the suggestions: the system, for example, estimates your risk of oncological disease (early diagnosis matters, since it lets people prepare for any consequences at an early stage) and offers a diagnosis based on a large number of cases and the views of university experts.
