Russian Post
The Russian Post app lets you track parcels, locate the nearest post offices on a map, check their opening hours, rate branch service, and do much more. Some of its features also work without a mobile internet connection.
First launch
Whenever you open the app, you'll land on a screen showing post offices near you. Your location is determined via GPS or Wi-Fi.
Tap any post office to see its full address, postal code, and working hours. You can view this information even without a mobile internet connection. There's also an option to rate the branch's service and submit any complaints.
Features
The feature most users find handy is parcel tracking. Tap "Shipment tracking" on the main screen, enter your tracking number, and choose the type (domestic within Russia or to/from Russia) to get the details you need.
After a brief wait (depending on your connection speed), the app displays a visual map of the parcel's route. It shows the current location along with dates and timestamps for customs checkpoints, sorting centers, and other stops.
The app is quite convenient, though it has a few drawbacks. For example, it doesn't let you paste a tracking number from the clipboard, so you'll need to type the code in manually.
