Description
PlayStation App is the official companion client for Sony PlayStation consoles, giving you access to all the key network features. With it, you can get notifications, game alerts and invitations, check which friends are online and what they're playing right now, edit your profile, read the latest news, track your progress in a game and compare the trophies you've earned, follow the profiles of friends you've subscribed to, and browse games and add-ons in the store. A PSN account is required to get the most out of the app, and some features need a PlayStation console.
An updated Android version of the app brings several new additions and gets users ready for the next generation of consoles. The PlayStation App now comes with a redesigned interface. The home screen displays what your friends are playing, along with details on your recently launched titles and the rewards you've received. PS Messages has also been merged into the PS App, so you can chat without jumping between apps. You can now create hangout groups from your phone and talk with up to 15 people at once through voice chat. The PS Store is built in as well, letting you browse its products and remotely download games to your console.
