Phone Down monitors your device usage and helps you reduce screen time, presented in a refined OS 27 style with a beautiful Liquid Glass interface.
MONITOR YOUR SCREEN TIME • View your daily averages and weekly trends directly on your home screen. • Access detailed activity logs broken down by day or week across categories like Social, Entertainment, and Productivity. • Identify your most-used apps and the specific time spent on each. • Track pickups: see how often you interact with your phone and which applications you launch first. • Notification monitoring: track how many alerts each app sends (optional feature).
ESTABLISH APP LIMITS • Set daily usage caps for individual apps or entire categories. • Apply consistent daily limits or customize schedules for specific days of the week. • Receive a helpful alert five minutes before your allotted time expires. • Pause Before Opening: enjoy a brief delay that displays how many times you have accessed that app throughout the day.
SCHEDULE DOWNTIME • Trigger Downtime manually or set automated schedules for specific days. • During active Downtime, only your pre-approved 'Always Allowed' apps remain accessible. • Toggle your Downtime status easily via the Quick Settings tile.
TIME’S UP INTERFACE • When your limit is hit or Downtime begins, a soothing overlay displays your current usage and indicates when the app will unlock again. • Need extra time? Select from 'Just One More Minute', 'Give Me 15 More Minutes', or 'No Limit for the Rest of Today'.
MAINTAIN FOCUS • Secure your settings using a passcode, pattern, or biometric authentication. • Receive comprehensive weekly screen time summaries. • View your daily usage stats via persistent notifications. • Customize your weekly start day.
PRIVACY FOCUSED Your activity data remains exclusively on your device. Phone Down does not require an account and never accesses or stores the content of your notifications.
PERMISSIONS • Usage Access: required to track app activity and duration. • Display over other apps: used to trigger the time’s up overlay during limits or Downtime. • Notification Access (optional): needed to count app-specific alerts. • Active monitoring: Phone Down utilizes a lightweight foreground service to ensure your limits and Downtime schedules are enforced accurately.
