Description
Persona 5X: Phantom of the Night is a mobile game set in the Persona universe and published by SEGA. For now, its release is planned for Asian markets, including China and Japan. Players can look forward to a sprawling open world, or at least expansive areas packed with NPCs and mini-games such as gym training and fishing.
For the time being, the game can be tried on Android and PC. The download is just over 3 GB and is split across several sessions. After the first download, you may see a notice that a newer version is available and that the game needs to be restarted. Be sure to follow that prompt.
The game features Chinese text alongside Japanese voice acting. The developers have already added cutscenes and the option to explore locations, including recognizable Japanese school settings. Players can chat with nearly every NPC and get around the city on foot or by subway. Keep in mind that there is no true open world, though the areas are spacious and frequently tied to story video sequences.
