Description
One Piece: Dream Pointer delivers modern 3D visuals that make it feel like you are watching an anime come to life. The voice acting is in Japanese, while the subtitles appear in Chinese, so you often have to piece together the storyline from the characters' expressions and the action unfolding on screen.
Battles unfold step by step, and you have to decide which skill card to play at each turn. What I appreciate is how the cutscenes flow neatly into combat, so every stage stays tightly connected to the story. Powerful ultimate moves can also transition smoothly into the next cutscene, which keeps the momentum going.
Keep in mind that you can have several characters in your party at once, and you'll need to gather them along the way. Your first characters are handed out as rewards for finishing story missions, while the rest will likely have to be pulled through the gacha system.
