OIL: Economic Strategy
An original economic strategy game where you build oil rigs, extract crude, sell it and grow your fortune.
Gameplay
You start the game with a modest amount of capital, which you can invest in surveying oil reserves and constructing your first extraction rig. Every rig pumps a set number of barrels per day, but it also drains a certain amount of money to run.
You can sell the crude you extract on the open market, yet prices there shift quickly, so you need to keep a close eye on them at all times. Misjudge the market and you could go bankrupt in a flash, bringing your game to an abrupt end.
You also decide how much oil to sell depending on the market price and your production costs. Any output you can't sell right away goes into a storage facility, which you must build as well. Once prices settle, you can sell from storage and collect a healthy profit. Your ultimate target is to earn 10 million dollars.
Game features
This game lets you live the life of a true oil tycoon, pumping crude, selling it and getting richer by the minute. You'll explore land to discover how much oil lies beneath it, then build extraction towers and storage facilities to make the most of your finds.
