Monster Hunter Now is a new augmented reality game from Niantic, the studio behind Pokemon GO. It centers on battles against monsters, character progression and online events. To take on massive dragons and lizards, players need to gather rare gear and upgrade it. The stat system is fairly simple, though: your character only has attack and defense levels. It isn't going to reinvent the genre, but that restraint may be a plus, since games like this tend to drain the battery quickly.
