Background

Mistland Saga begins in the radiant land of Nymira, a realm rich in legends and myths. It tells of learned mages who discovered how to harness the land's magical energy. Yet great power brought unfortunate consequences: wars erupted across the territories as rivals fought for control of this source. The resulting catastrophe cast a dark mist over Nymira for centuries.

Many years after that disaster, the mysterious mist has slowly faded, and Nymira has re-emerged into the world. Expeditions have been launched to uncover its secrets, and the mysterious land is gradually coming back to life. Plenty of unexplored territory still awaits conquest. Venture deeper into the enigmatic mist and forge your own path to legend.

Gameplay

As in many RPGs, you take on the role of a warrior, an adventurer exploring the enigmatic land of Nymira. Legends speak of mysterious powers that still lie unclaimed across this realm. You will undertake tasks given by NPCs and pursue the mysteries hidden behind them. The long journey through the levels feels more immersive once you experience it firsthand.

Along the way in Mistland Saga, you will face many different levels and terrifying foes, from monsters to restless immortal souls. Yet the rewards from these battles will make you stronger. The gold you earn and the appealing equipment you gather will boost your power, letting you overcome the challenging levels ahead. Legends are made by people, and you can write your own.

Level system

Mistland Saga unfolds across a vast land shrouded in thick fog. Beyond the fogged regions, stages wait for you to explore. At the center of the map lies the city of Verdiara, where fellow heroes gather and where you can find quests and upgrade shops.

Surrounding the city are the various regions of Nymira. Most are locked for now, but you can unlock them by clearing earlier stages. Each direction of this land is home to different kinds of monsters. Boss stages appear from time to time, so prepare yourself before approaching them.

Diverse equipment

Mistland Saga features many character classes, and its equipment system is divided accordingly. Depending on your character's class, equipment may look different, but it generally falls into the following categories:

Weapons: Typically a long sword or a magic staff, classic medieval arms. They provide attack and magic stats that boost your character's damage.
Armor: Iron plate for warriors and cloaks for mages. This gear increases your character's resistance and adds a certain amount of health.
Jewelry: Usually rings that supply energy for using your skills.
Shoes: Boost movement speed and grant certain effects depending on the item's quality.
