Get ready to grow super giant watermelons in Melon Maker: Fruit Game! This fruit-merging title belongs to the highly addictive Watermelon Game series from publisher SUPERBOX Inc. Expect plenty of fun with adorable fruits, but also a real challenge that rewards careful planning if you want to come out on top. Let's take a closer look at what makes this game so engaging.
About the game Melon Maker: Fruit Game
Your goal in Melon Maker: Fruit Game is to merge fruits inside a box until you create a massive, super giant watermelon.
Merge fruits
Melon Maker: Fruit Game draws inspiration from the classic number puzzle 2048. The idea is to combine matching units to produce a new value that is double the previous one. You keep arranging until no space is left, and that is when you win. Unlike 2048, however, this game avoids dozens of confusing numbers by swapping them for charming fruits that are much easier to picture.
In Melon Maker: Fruit Game, you drop fruits into a designated box. When two identical fruits touch, they instantly merge into a new, bigger fruit. The game features up to 11 fruits of different sizes, and you only win once you match the final fruit, the giant watermelon. Be careful, though: if the box fills up with fruit before you manage to create a watermelon, you lose.
Arrange fruit properly
Fruits in Melon Maker: Fruit Game react to impacts, so they can roll and shift even when they seem settled. When falling fruit collides with them, they may slide into unexpected spots, making it hard to keep your layout exactly as you want. Think ahead before dropping each fruit and consider how it will affect the arrangement you are building.
Random fruits
The fruits you drop in Melon Maker: Fruit Game change each turn. For easy reference, the fruits are ranked by size from level 1 to level 11. Each drop is chosen at random from levels 1 through 5, which keeps things lively. The game shows you which fruit is coming next so you can plan your moves, yet the randomness still delivers plenty of surprises.
This unpredictability is a big part of the fun. It can rescue you from a tight spot, but it can also throw you a fruit you have no idea where to place.
Scoring mechanism
Melon Maker: Fruit Game offers a single challenge mode, and its scoring system adds extra excitement. Each time you merge fruits, you earn points based on the size of the fruit created, so bigger fruits are worth more. Your score is recorded when you win or lose a stage.
Connect the game to a social network account such as Facebook to compare your results with friends who also play Melon Maker: Fruit Game. You can also share your best moments on your profile to invite more friends to join the fun!
World rankings
Melon Maker: Fruit Game includes a global leaderboard that ranks players by their highest scores. The player at the top holds the best score, and with enough skill you can take that spot for yourself. Show what you can do by climbing the rankings, because you could become the number one player in Melon Maker: Fruit Game in no time.
