Description

Meganoid 2017 is a tough platformer that builds fresh levels every time you play. Collect plenty of items to boost your character and his skills as you make your way down through the Meganoid spaceship. Will you dash straight for the exit, or take your time gathering everything you can, narrowly escaping the security drones that will come after you if you hang around too long?

Key features

• Levels are randomly generated each game session from a set of templates, so every run feels unique yet still familiar.
• A platformer with roguelike elements. Consumables, alternate paths, procedural generation, and plenty of devices and gadgets add depth to the demanding gameplay of the original Meganoid.
• A large number of collectible items that change how your main character moves through the world. Grab a jetpack to start soaring, pick up anti-gravity boots for double jumps, and much more.
• Hidden bonus areas to discover and unlock, often offering a shortcut or rare, powerful items.
• A hackable game world. Finding green key cards lets you tweak how certain elements behave and react to you. Disable rocket launchers, shorten rocket flight, or make destroyed robots drop extra lives.
• Unlock the database with details on every item and enemy you encounter so you're better prepared for your next attempt.
