Lucy – The Eternity She Wished For is an Android-based game in which a beautiful robot was originally designed to be a companion for a lonely protagonist eager to experience everything life has to offer. In reality, though, this model was discarded after a malfunction, and the root of the problem is that its behavior could not be fully controlled. The prototype was released with too few restrictions, and over time it began to evolve on its own, as if some unexpected accident on the production line had sparked artificial intelligence. Every model has its own personality, but this young android has no limits at all.
She no longer follows her programmed routines and instead works to expand her understanding by exploring the world around her. The hero may now have a companion who offers him pleasant company without any regard for moral principles. The real question is whether she would ever agree to such a arrangement, since her body has no sensory receptors, so intimacy means little more to her than an unfamiliar human custom. Love has no meaning for her either, and all we can hope is that the young man recognizes his mistake and stops treating the robot as if she were a real person.
