Besides building, the second core element of Lords Mobile is fighting enemies in battle. You won't control a single character directly. Instead, you'll summon troops to defend your base. The screen splits in two, with your base on the left. A blue path links your base to the enemy's, and it stretches longer as you progress. You can place structures or summon troops along it.

You start with a set number of cards, and beside them sits an energy bar that refills over time. Each card costs a certain amount of energy, letting you summon minions or unleash a card's power. Deploying is simple: drag the card onto the spot where the blue path reaches. If the path extends far enough, you can even summon minions right next to the enemy base.

UNLOCK DIFFERENT CARDS

You won't be limited to two basic cards in the early levels of Lords Mobile. Many other card types are waiting to be unlocked. You can bring only a fixed number of cards onto the battlefield, and the rewards you earn bring new cards packed with exciting features. The cards cover troops, buildings, skills and much more. To make a card stronger, you'll need to collect duplicates of the same type.

One rewarding but resource-hungry activity is opening chests. The rewards inside can be surprisingly generous, and you'll see exactly how much you receive. In the upgrade section, you can check how many duplicate cards you need to boost a card's stats. Because of this, the system can absorb a lot of your time, but it's a feature you won't want to miss.
